This weekend....

Hello Ladies!!

So... my boyfriend and I just got back from a beautiful cruise to puerto rico, turks and caicos, bermuda and st thomas.. I knew the engagement wouldnt be then... however... this weekend we are going away with my parents to the beach for 4th of july. I have a feeling this will be when he will ask for their permission (if he didnt already do that behind my back!, who knows with him.) So.. Im crossing my fingers!! also, the engagement will be coming within a few months, just dont know when..

we actually got into a small fight, ok, well a little bit bigger than a small fight over the engagement, (2nd one in the past few months) and well.. after being sad and mopey, and crying to each other, he just blurts out.. "FINE ILL TELL U WHEN I PICKED TO PROPOSE!!" and I just told him to be quiet! and dont ruin it for me!!

I want to know so bad, but i dont want to know because i want to be surprised. But anyways.. we were fine after that. We were actually laughing. ha

Any ladies out there who think this weekend will be your engagement?

I wish! But no, sadly I know it won''t be this weekend. However, we''re pretty sure we found an apartment and he said that he wanted to wait til we were living together to propose soooo... maybe soon?!

I''m glad you guys are fine now after the fight. Me and my BF have had a fight about getting engaged too but it didn''t last very long. I think it''s normal.

I keep asking him when he''ll propose. I want it to be a surprise yet I am anxious. The ring is in the safety deposit box in the bank. It has been sitting there for a week already. The ring was sent back to Tacori for 4 weeks since the goldsmith set the diamond off to the side. Anyways.... probably won''t happen ''til my mom''s back from her vacation. Only me and my parents have access to the safety box. I told him I want to be engaged by our 6-yr anni on July 24. I''m guessing he''ll propose between July 19-24.

Thats soooooo sooon! id be so anxious!!! yea i constantly ask him and he just gives me the look like "u know im not tellin u so why r u asking?" haha but i love that even though were not engaged, hes still callin me his wife haha.. At least i know hes not going anywhere

I also wanted to ask u if u have been loooking at wedding ideas... I have been and me and the bf agree or disagree on stuff all the time for it.. I dont feel bad that were not engaged yet and im looking at wedding venues and such...

awww... that''s nice he is calling you his wife. Just the other day, I was helping my bf do something. He gave me a hug from behind and said ... "you''ll make a good wife." I was thinking... oh ya... maybe you should just propose already then I can be your good wife sooner? lol.. I didn''t say it ''cuz I didn''t want to ruin the moment.

wedding ideas... we haven''t been talking about it. I always googled the wedding venues and stuff though.

I just want to enjoy the feeling of waiting to be engaged first. We know what wedding band we want, kinda. (at least for mine.. i''m bad) I kinda check on the price on hair and makeup, so that we know the price range. Yesterday I asked him "can you tell him like.. around when you''ll propose.. like... a deadline... end of summer or something?" He wouldn''t tell me.

I''m like, I want to be engaged so that we can start planning our wedding officially. So, I think I''ll wait ''til I get the proposal first. It doesn''t hurt to google the wedding stuff everyday though.

I agree that nothing is wrong with looking...espically if you are a planner and like for everyting to go right. I have a few ideas but these are thingswe have talked about together. I too am trying to enjoy the waiting period, but im wishing the period would hurry up a bit....
