Hi so i've been having a really hard time finding an ACA 1.85-2.0 ct F-G VS1-VS2 in my price range of >24/25k and alot of the VS2 seem to have large crystals in the tables and "additional clouds not shown and graining etc" or very populated inclusions on the tables.

stone will be set in round/4-6 prong solitaire platinum setting with pave band.

I know i should just wait till the right stone comes along but this this stone @ $19277 , 2.064 vvs1, i color --- seems like a really good deal but the i color is scaring me, am i tripping about the color? especially in my setting?

Would save me a ton of cash but going from a f-g to an i seems like a big jump down.. maybe i'm just being a bit too jumpy/impatient and cheap at the same time :)

I guess I may not completely be understanding the issue. I think you might be freaking out a little more over the clarity
plot or comments than is necessary.

What do you think of this one?

I am color sensitive and this stone is very beautiful. I say go for it!

I really think you should consider eye clean VS2 options. You really dont need VVS clarity, especially for stones that WF confirms are eye clean. I like the I stone you posted, but think you are getting caught up in inclusion plots when you dont need to

Ps. "Additional clouds not shown" or "surface graining not shown" are typically non issues, especially in VS2 and up stones. The only issue is if a stone is SI1 or below and the cert says "clarity based on clouds not shown"

I think it's worth seeing in person. The I color might not both you after all. And you'd get to save quite a bit of money!

Just bought an ACA 1.5ct I SI1 from WF and I am good with the colour. You can ask WF to take some photos putting F, G and your selected I colour diamonds together for your comparison.

Thank you for all the responses, i appreciate all the advice:

1. yes i think i should pick some stones to line up to see if i can tell the diff.
2. ok maybe i am freaking out about the plots a little too much.

I kinda think you should see it by itself first, if possible. I worry that it'll look "worse" when compared next to others but might actually be fine to you when it's on its own. But that might not be feasible.
