Thoughts on Potential Bracelet Purchase?

I'm considering buying this bracelet for a friend for her graduation, though I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to buying jewellery.

Details are:
Brilliant cut, J Colour, I2 Clarity, 0.50 Carat
9 Carat White Gold
£695

Good or bad? Elegant or tacky? Overpriced? I'm confused . Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I would find out if the diamonds look clear or cloudy since the picture shown is a generic one, not of the actual item itself. Most I2 diamonds look like frozen spit.

I have read some articles about making crafts by self !! It seems the learning centre part in pandahall.It 's practical! May be you can buy come gorgeous materials, like beads or something else and DIY a beautiful jewelry for your friend. It may be a good choice!!!
