Hi all,

I’m still a newbie here and would love some advice on these two diamond options. Unfortunately I do not have images of the first diamond (0.83ct) - if anyone could guide me as to how to find these online that would be much appreciated!

Option 2:
0.80ct Round Brilliant Diamond
D colour
VS2 clarity
Excellent Cut
Excellent Polish
Excellent Symmetry
No Fluorescence
GIA graded and certified

Honestly, I like the numbers on the first one. Can you ask a trusted person to vet and see if the twinning wisps are visible and if the cloud affects its performance?

I like the video of the second one. But I'm not good at evaluating videos.

Maybe others can chime in.

I prefer twining wisps as the grade setting inclusion and not cloud on an SI1 stone and the numbers look great like @LLJsmom has commented on so worth taking a further look. The second option the video doesn’t look crisp to me and the arrows look washed out. Also the table looks to be on the larger size compared to the first option. I would go with the first stone if you can get a video or images and they check out good.

I dont love the video of the 2nd one but it might just be a bad video. It doesn't look crisp (as mentioned above)

Post the report for the second stone.

The certificate is in the link, once loaded you will find it on the top left

The contrast on the video is just not there for a 35.5/40.6 combo doesn’t look crisp and the arrows aren’t defined I would pass on this one just my opinion.

Here are some better options

Looks good, but I would stay away from clouds. JMO.

Nothing inherently wrong with clouds unless you see "clarity based on clouds not shown " in a stone that's SI1 or below.

I dont like clouds as the grade setting inclusion in an SI1 stone but thats just me.

1st one scored a good HCA

Are these super ideal?

True super ideal diamonds are only available from specific vendors.

Thanks for these options. I am in Australia, the additional costs to import and then trying to find someone to set an outside stone is just not feasible. I will keep looking locally

İf you buy from America you only pay GST even if you buy the setting you dont pay the 5% Duty because of the Free Trade Agreement as far İ know
