Hi All,

Curious on what you think on either of these diamonds, I am mostly looking at G VS2 or better in the 1.150-1.300 carat range based on my price point and came across both of these rings, I know one is an H, but wanted to know what some of the thoughts on the pros on this forum are?

ACA diamonds are top of the line. You can’t go wrong with either choice. Just need to determine your sensitivity to color/tint. Have you looked at diamonds in person to determine your cut off point?? Have Whiteflash do a side by side comparison to give you an idea. Good luck!

Is this one not clean enough for you? Just trying to get you bigger in a G. It is listed as eye-clean. You
can ask WF to have a look at it and see what they say about the inclusions.

Ask for side-by-side pictures of the Gs and H. You can see what you think of the size difference.

I’m a little torn. Prefer the G color but looking at the sparkle video the H looks more crisp to my eyes. Take away the super magnification and the naked eye likely doesn’t see that loss of crispness.

I like the performance of the G that @tyty333 posted as well. Sparkle video shows big fire. Also it appears more crisp than the other G. My concern here are the black crystals in the brilliance video. Again those are super magnified and likely the stone is eye clean to the naked eye as their webpage says. I’d still want confirmation.

As far as size, eh it’s nearly a wash. The G’s ring in with a 6.90mm spread. The H a 6.80mm spread. A difference of 0.10mm is pretty minor. Sometimes we see rounds with as much as 0.07mm between the length and width dimensions but our eyes don’t detect it. Most people start to notice around 0.20mm in a side by side comparison. My point being I’m less concerned with size than color and clarity on these 3 stones. And all are awesome performers!

I would likely want to see how they compare to each other with tint. Depends if they are low or high for their respective color grade. A high G (near F) would get me revved up over a low H (near I). However a high H and two low G’s I’d let the clarity decide.
