Hi All,

I'm brand new to the community, and have already purchased a diamond. With that said, I get into the zone where I endlessly research diamond statistics in order to educate, as well as ease my mind. I'm absolutely a noob to the diamond world, but if I can leave this conversation with some extra knowledge, I'll consider that a big win!

I recently purchased a 60/60 diamond and would love your professional feedback as to what your take on what it's light return might be. I've tried to use the HCA Tool, but it is not working for me. I'm not including my personal take on the overall look of the diamond, because I would like to keep all personal bias out of the conversation. I'll post the stats below.

Any help would be great. Thank you!

Could we see a picture/video of the diamond you purchased?

I have no input on the diamond itself, other than it looks huge. And is it in a yellow gold setting? Very pretty. Hope you liked the stone in person before you found out its HCA score and still feel it was a good buy!

Thank you! Yes, it is yellow gold, with platinum prongs. I saw it in person and worked with a jeweler to select a loose diamond. This one stood out to me immediately!! I’m also very pleased with the HCA score..it’s good to see the “data”compared to what my eyes see.

33.5/40.5 should not have leakage. The photos confirm.
However, being shallow too obstruction can be an issue. (Persistent black arrows, black/darkness around the arrowheads or between arrowshafts).

Thank you. Just to make sure I'm on the same page.. are you referring to the dark spots next to the arrows in the brighter light setting? Would you consider 59.4 a bit too shallow?

I personally do not care about the depth number.
