Hi again guys/gals,

Here''s another ripper I found..... well, I think it''s a ripper.
Any opinions??

On the magnified image the table facet joins look a bit dark, but a lot of other images from the same vendor also look like this.
Do you think this is just poor lighting or alignment of the camera?

HCA 1.4 (ex, ex, ex, vg)
Ideal H&A cut with AGS cert (0.93ct F/VS1)

Cheers,
sbf

This stone has some very nice numbers!

As far as the arrow question, I bet it is a picture issue.

Really? Why do you doubt that it''s H&A?
This stones comes from a recommended vendor here at PS, and it''s listed as a H&A Ideal 0

ask the vendor for a heart pic.

I think I see what you mean.... it''s a little irregular between the arrows. Slightly different sized dark/light areas???
I''ll see if they can get a Hearts image
Thanks
I LOVE this site

OK, I am the first to admit I''m no expert at reading IS images; but is there or is there not some table leakage showing, primarily where there''s that slight irregularity between the arrow shafts around 12:00? It doesn''t look like the diamond is tilted...

Of course, I could be imagining it- I know a lot more about antique cuts than modern ones.

I doubt the human eye would notice that, ask if you can get a hearts image for the diamond. " Its all in the hearts" according to a renowned expert!

So Rhino & Lorelei,

Without a Hearts image, would you be happy that this is a H&A stone, or sceptical?
I must admit to being a bit sceptical, esp on close examination of the idealscope pics..... but how noticable would this be in the real world?? The stone certainly appears to fit into the TIC category, and otherwise looks great.

Cheers,
sbf

skeptical
I would qualify for the lower end of excellent face up symmetry.
Near h&a rating is more like it.
Real world face up difference - very little to none
