Thoughts on this rendering upgrade?

I am thinking of remounting the stones in my avatar. What do you think?

I cannot tell that much, but I prefer the current setting, I think. The new one has too much going on; the eye cannot figure out where to land.

Your present setting is very art deco,and clean. That is my favorite style.

I'm a huge fan of clean, classic rectangular 3 stones. I'm also a fan of halos, but very rarely together.

I have seen it work, but I think your existing setting is really perfect as is.

Not to be an enabler, have you thought of looking for another stone to halo if you're missing some of the bling factor that this ring has?

Yep, I agree with the others. I like it... but I like what you have now much better. If you really like the new design then go for it, your opinion is the one that matters most.

Thanks for the comments and the honesty. I have looked at this rendering for a few weeks now...and I guess my "gut instinct" must have been the same as I like the simplicity of what I have. I think maybe looking for an alternative with a bit more "bling" may be the answer!

This version is definitely more blingy and at the other spectrum from your current classic style, so it comes down to personal taste.
