Three and a half years!

BF and I are pretty terrible about remembering anniversaries. We''ll remember...a few days late. So we were pretty shocked when we realized that tomorrow is our three and a half year anniversary and we remembered before it passed.

Anyways, I just wanted to share my excitement here.

Congrats! Going to do anything fun since you remembered it this time?

Haha, nope. I had to stay 2 hours late at work, and was hungry and grouchy when I came home. He did have dinner ready, though, which was wonderful.

Mostly we just said, "Happy three and a half years." And I''ve been grinning all day. Like this --->

FI and I do it monthly! LOL! We don''t actually "celebrate" it every month, per se, but we totally acknowledge it and try to do something special together on that day each month. It has become a bit of a game now, and we accuse each other of forgetting it when the other doesn''t bring it up first. We''re so lame.

Our 5 year anniversary is this Saturday.

We're the same way! Actually, I'm way worse than FF. I forgot our 1 year anniversary and made plans to have dinner with a girlfriend the night of.

I made up for it by bringing home cupcakes and champagne after dinner, though, so he wasn't too upset. He did say I can never get mad at him for forgetting an anniversary though.

ETA: Congratulations on 3.5 years!!!

So glad other people still recognize the month thing! That''s usually when BF and I forget...and then one of us will look at the calendar and say, "Oh, look. It was our monthaversary. Happy late monthaversary!" The big ones...well, we can be good about those. Sometimes. We usually end up rescheduling for a convenient time, lol.

I''m a night owl.. so my boyfriend and I are still texting mostly till 1 or 2 am.. One of us always remembers to text or call or tell each other right at midnight during our monthly anniversaries. We don''t celebrate every month, just acknowledge. ahhhh, looove
