Tiffany 2 Ct Pt Studs

Does anyone else make solid platinum or gold studs like these Tiffany studs? There are no diamonds in these studs. Tiffany is charging 695 USD for these, which seems a bit much.

I have those earrings and the matching platinum necklace.

I believe the set is called Elsa Peretti 2 karat (with a k, not c) necklace or something like that -- I've long since forgotten.

Just to warn you -- they are beautiful at first but be sure to store them inside a spare soft Tiffany pouch or even the velvet box they come in! I was careless and tossed mine in my jewelry box/handbag a few times and they got ALL scratched up.

Those studs are now featured in their latest catalogue. In the catalogue, they are called Elsa Peretti TWO CARAT faceted earrings. The platinum ones are a bit pricey so I will probably get the 18K ones for 395 USD the next time I''m in Seattle. I''m pretty sure they are more expensive in downtown Vancouver (have to check if I ever go near downtown) since there is a 10% luxury tax on diamonds and jewellery in Canada. The 14% sales tax here doesn''t help.

What does the necklace look like? Is it like a solitaire pendant? Do you have pics? I don''t see it on their website.
