Tiffany or Taffany?

Hello everyone.

I recently had a whirlwhind romance with a guy who turned out to be a real jerk. Not only did he throw and entire beer on me at an event, he gave me what I think is a fake Tiffany necklace. It''s a heavy toggle chain, and the circle is the only thing stamped with Tiffany & Co. All of my other toggle neclaces and bracelets have the logo on the circle as well as Tiffany & Co. .925 on the bar that loops through it. The necklace in question has neither that stamp nor any markings as to its metal content. Opinions? I think I already know the answer, but before I chuck the thing out the window, I''d like to see what others think.

Most Tiffany jewelry out there is fake, so unless you KNOW he bought it there I would assume it's fake... They do keep a registry of purchases on the store computers under names/addresses. So you could always call and see if there is a record of the purchase there.

if you look on the links.. there should be one around the 17-22 mark that says tiffany and co... and that will prove its real... otherwise its not... and if ur still unsure bring it to tiffanys :-0
