good morning one and all ....... well, I am a BIG Christmas person, just love the whole holiday spirit (despite the chaos!) and I love meeting up with people this time of year. a cozy hot toddy in the pub or steaming mugs of hot chocolate ........ hhhhmmmmmmmmm !


so I am here trying to round up you ladies who are Beantown residents or close enough to make it to Boston once in awhile.

so I am hearby calling rfath, nytemist, sweetpea, bree ....... anyone else !?

I work every second weekend so I''m only off December 3rd, 4th and December 17th, 18th ... to be honest though I''m much more on for an afterwork Thursday or something

I could do any of those days except the 17th. I''m also up for after work, I work in Cambridge and live in Brighton, so I have to pass through downtown anyways on my way to and from work : )

The 17th sounds good. I can always record CSI. Are there any places that all of you particularly like? I looove my dive, the Pour House, Fridays has a great dessert, of course all the other great places around.

hey, me again. I''m just trying to pin this down. The weekend is not good for me ( I have a tonne to do, all the rest of my shopping and some Christmas visiting since we are flying home on the 23rd - whooopeeeeeeee ! )

I was hoping for after work next Thursday (the 15th) - that is a week from tomorrow. Rfath e-mailed me and she is on for it to.

Since no-one seems to have a preference of place, I thought of two possibilities. MJ''s (where we met last time, Rfath) just because it''s so handy and it''s plenty big enough that if there are Christmas parties going on there there will still be room for us ! MJ''s is right near Boston Common for anyone who doesn''t know it. I also thought of The Kinsale, which is just at Government Center, really near Fanueil Hall. Of course, if any of you are willing to hop on the T, the PERFECT gathering spot in winter in Boston has to James'' Gate in JP. They have a big open fire there ! So cozy !

So let me know, I really want to do this, would love to meet in person and put faces and stories to the names from the forum.
