oh yeah. i wore the "repeat offender", except it had the neckline of the "foil follies".
can you picture it? now add a little hat thing with a birdcage veil. all in royal blue.
ahhh, the 80's.

Those are some ugly dresses!

I love the names they gave the dresses. LOL

You know... I hit the foil follies... and thought, I can''t BELIEVE anything is going to beat these. Then I kept going.

My mother did "the rainbow connection" for her own wedding. She even made all the dresses herself! I laugh hysterically whenever I see the pictures (I believe there were hats as well), but she still defends her choice to this day.

Those are REALLY ugly!

I just read this issue of people tonight. It''s really interesting....all about weddings!
It has engagement stories, weird themed weddings, ugly bridesmaid dresses, couple who copies celebrity weddings. I was definitely hooked for a couple of hours. :)

Oh my! Timeless, classic dresses these are NOT.

I wore "the repeat offender" in that same teal color for my brother''s wedding! and something very similar in fuschia at my sister''s! UGH.

The little mermaid would be very handy if you ever decided to become a can-can dancer and the wedding shower dresses are the closest thing to a real life Little Bo Peep costume I''ve ever seen.

Haha, they''re so ugly.

My MOH sent me an email about a month before my wedding with a link to "The Tablecloth", asking if it was too late to scrap the flattering navy blue dresses and go with those instead.

I kinda liked the scarlett o''hara - but I can''t give a *good* reason as to why this is LOL

Ha Ha!!
Oh my, I have worn the repeat offender TWICE- once in bright teal, and once in royal blue satin
I''ve been in the pastel rainbow wedding, I was pink- I didn''t have a hat, but a bow in my hair with bells hanging off (it was the 70s and I was 9)

and I''ve also had the hat thing going on- that was not a good look for me- floral bm dress with a hat. ouch.

I gasped in horror at the kitchen curtain one, geeze that must be the most hideous dress I''ve ever seen!

Me too. I feel kind of embarrased to admit this. Maybe because I like the Southern Belle look?

Me three. *blushes*

I think it''s because with some tailoring and simplifying it could actually be okay for a themed wedding.

Oh my giddy aunt!! I wore #1 - that exact dress and colour for my sisters wedding in 1991!!!

I''m laughing my butt off over here!!!

I think I would have a winner from my own 1st wedding in 1993. The bridesmaid dresses I had made had lines similar to the repeat offender...but the fabric was a floral chintz. I think I owe my friends a HUGE apology......

My boyfriend sent me this article! My older sister wore something very similar to the Repeat Offender in her friend''s wedding and it had a GIGANTIC bow across the butt. It was one of those shiny taffeta fabrics that kind of turns different colors...she kept it just so we could mock it for years to come!

P.S. I can''t believe you guys like the Scarlett O''Hara! YIKES! Hahaha!
