It''s been a bad day. For one, my student''s been sick but the doctor doesn''t know what''s wrong. I don''t know how much is actually medical and how much isn''t. He''s been much more OCD than usual, which can be a little tiring constantly reassuring and redirecting (and I''m not upset with or blaming him at all... it''s just tiring).
My car is having the same problem I had before... around 45-50mph it starts shaking. The mechanic said it was an "out of round" tire. The tire guys said it was in the frame. The mechanic checked again and again said "out of round." Tire guys checked again, said it was the frame (or something I don''t remember) but put hub centric rings on anyway. I thought it kinda helped, but now it''s doing it again. UGH.
I really need car expenses to wait until after the wedding.
Not to mention the stress over worrying about finances for the wedding... enough to thin out my hair because it''s falling out. Luckily, I have a lot to spare.
So then today I find out the worst- one of our students is being sexually molested. It''s something we wondered about but CPS can''t move on what we think might be happening, so now that there''s something to go on they are going to do something. So, that''s just utterly turned my stomach inside out and I want to beat someone down! Though, I do hope and pray both get the help they need.
Then I talked to a boss at my interpreting job about being so discouraged about how slow drastic improvement is taking. She reassured me not to be discouraged and another boss had said that I''m exactly where I should be having just graduated... but still. I just wish I was doing better.
So then I get home and see some dust and particles at the seam of the roof and wall of the room add-on... in the same location I heard scratching for a couple nights. I had gone outside when I heard the scratching but couldn''t see anything. I sprayed the roof with water to scare away whatever it was. Obviously, it got IN the roof!
We have lots of squirrels, an occassional possum, a rare racoon but never a rat.
I don''t know what it is (too small to be a racoon and too big to be a mouse), but I do hope the exterminator that''s coming tomorrow afternoon does whatever he does as humanely as possible. The idea of an animal suffering is sad regardless of the type of animal.
So yeah, that''s another expense.
So now I have a horrid headache and have to leave in a bit to interpret an English class. Head.going.to.ex.plode.
Okay, I''m done whining... I think I''m entitled to a whine now and then, right?
I''m just feeling down. I think I need to dance around in some PS fairy dust and stand on some PS prayers.
