trouble with pictures

I just got engaged yesterday and I really want to post pics of my ring, but it''s not working. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I try to attach a file and it just tells me there is an error. It''s so frustrating. I want to show off my ring!!

HI. Make sure the file isn''t too big and/or doesn''t have any weird characters in it like &: or :/"....

Do you know what is considered to be too big?

I think it''s over 1 kilobyte? Does it say in the pop up box?

100,000 bytes. Is that the same as 1 KB. My pics are like 16.1 KB so that would make sense, though I''m not entirely sure how to make the pics a smaller file size. Thanks!

You have to resize them in photoshop or another picture editing software....in Photoshop, go to "Image" "Resize" usually, 5 or 6 inches works for me.
