so she is basically turning my dress into a mermaid! i am sorry that the pictures are not better! i actually have a decent camera, but i don''t know how to use the settings. i was trying everything on today and i spotted the veils, i tried one on and everyone liked it!!! i just looked very bridal!!

here is the wrap i got from etsy. i had it shipped to my mom so i wasnt able to see it until last night! i tried it on with my dress before it was pinned, so you can see how saggy the rear looks!

thank you!!!! i was actually really excited trying on the dress today. if you compare this to other pictures, i am obviously happier--the other times i tried it on i wasn''t totally sold (hence the sourpuss expression). with the veil and the alterations i am loving it now though!!

Cocolaw, your dress looks stunning on you!!!!! I love the detail and the modified mermaid is going to be fabulous! The veil is lovely, not too poofy but just enough of a soft touch! Its similar to veils I am looking at, very sheer and weightless. And lastly, LOVE those shoes peeping out!
