Hi Ladies,
We picked our tux colors (vests and ties) about a month ago from Mens Wearhouse. Yesterday we went back with swatches of my dress and the bridesmaids dresses and I have a minor situation. The bridesmaids dresses are taupe/gold with a champagne band and my dress is a dark ivory/champagne color. We originally selected a taupe vest and tie for the GM, black tie and vest for the dads, and ivory for my groom. When we took the swatch of my dress next to the ivory vest, it looked terrible. The vest looked almost white and made it look kind of dingy.
I am now not sure what to put my groom in. They had a champagne tie that looks perfect with my dress, but there is no vest with it.
Should I just not have my groom wear a vest? Would that be strange if everyone else is wearing vests? Any other suggestions? Should I just get a new dress?!? 
Just kidding!
The wedding is in December. It is an outdoor formal(ish) ceremony. The girls are in long dresses and I am in an a-line alvina valenta dress.
Any help you can give would be wonderful!
