gladys - I adore them! I'm so getting myself earrings as a graduation present!

This is my original e-ring:
1/2 ct princess, SI1 (but the jeweler felt it was more like VS2), G-H
she sparkles like mad!

Someday we will turn it into a necklace... not sure yet.

Very nice. When did you get your RB ring? Finding ideas for a pendant will be fun. There are so many options out there.

Fun thread! Here is my "flower" e-ring. The center stones are made up of seven G VVS1 diamonds, with five tiny side stones on each side, for a total of .70.

Another one!
Hey, I think you stole my ring!

For the life of me I can''t get a good pic of it, but you can kind of see it in my avitar.

Thanks! That semimount was a lucky find. There are so many vintage e-ring mountings out there, but nobody's doing much of anything for "other" like fashion, cocktail, dinner, RHR, or whatever you want to call the non-bridal stuff. Every 6 months or so, I might see 1 or 2 used fashion-y semi-mounts on ebay, but that's about it. Nothing in remount shows and nothing in most jewelry stores unless they carry estate pieces.

Hi

I''ve looked at this thread a few times and wanted to play along

since I finally managed to resize files...
This is actually my RHR but I played around with it and had to put it on my left hand to take the picture. It''s a .25ct M VS1 RB and I just love it. The pictures don''t do it justice. It sparkles like mad in the sunlight....

Good bump GTN. This is one of my favorite threads!

I was engaged September 26th! My fiance surprised me at school (I''m a teacher) with this beautiful .70 H SI1 oval!!! I have been too busy to post on here, but we''re so happy and excited!

Ohhhh that oval is GORGEOUS! Hand pic, please! What are you thinking for a wedding band?

Ajd - your oval solitaire is beautiful. Congratulations on your recent engagement.

Here''s the ring I just got for my 20th Anniversary. Center stone is .50 ct. F VS2 Band .25ct.

I love this thread. Sometimes you really start in with the DSS around here. It''s nice to see beautiful rings that are under 1 ct!

Here''s my .77 cushion brilliant with .62 pave. this is an anniversary/upgrade. The three rows of pave are my "past, present, and future". I figured I wanted my budget to go towards one diamond instead of three.

Another shot.

Elmorton,

I''d really like a five stone oval or round band. Unfortunately (and fortunately), my fiance is big on platinum and I don''t think he can afford a five stone set in platinum. So for now, I''ll probably do a knife-edge band and then in a few years upgrade to five stones. I definitely want to keep my engagement ring forever, but I figure upgrading the wedding band would be a nice 5 or 10 year anniversary gift!

I like the classic look of the knife-edged plain band, I think it will be so pretty!! I''ve never seen a 5 stone oval, but I bet that would be gorgeous too. Congrats on your engagement!

Here is my new ring, it is a .52ct RB set in a pave'' with a 4 prong halo bezel.

mingagreen...your ring set is spaced out like mine will be (once the wedding is done). I was wondering, do you find that the ering and wring rub together a lot in a bad way? I''m a little worried that it might wear away on the rings...

.71, F, SI1 (can''t figure out how to attach more than one)
