Under 1ct diamonds

Logan Sapphire, I have fallen in love with your round three stone ring. I have been on the hunt for one similar to it for a while and I cannot find any three stone rings with a rounded band. At all. They're all flat edges and squared. Where did you find yours?

I posted this in the regular general E-ring Folder, but saw this thread and thought to add mine here as well. First off, let me say that everyone's e-rings/wedding rings/rings-for-whatever-occasion are absolutely stunning in this thread. Although stones and rings of any size are beautiful, special and meaningful to each person, there's a place in my heart for the smaller sized stones. I absolutely love my engagement ring. It was my second, due to me losing my 1st one (which I later found years thank God..yes, it was hiding for around 2 years!). So, I've had this one on for longer than I'd been engaged/married as I lost the ring very shortly after our wedding.

My husband picked it out himself and everything was just so romantic. Maybe it's the mystery of the ring perhaps. It's antique style (I don't think it's a real antique hopefully, as I do think they are beautiful and gorgeous and am ok with family heirlooms, but not unknown antiques as in from stores or strangers - just a personal choice) It's 14kt white gold with a semi high setting (not crazy tall but not low) It has .50 ct tw. in round white diamonds lining the sides in H-I color, with an open lattice/laced looking motif for the sides and organic shaped cutouts on the sides, profile and underside. The center stone is just a teensy bit over 1ct coming in at 1.07 carats. It's a natural Champagne diamond. It is a round brilliant cut, vs2-si1 quality. I'm a size 7 but have small hands!

That's really all the info he got on the ring...the setting itself is stamped with the 14ct gold and just 2 initials "MJ" which....aren't mine, LOL. Soooo, either it was the person who crafted the ring or who owned it  :? He did get it from a small mom and pop jewelry shop that admittedly did have an antique section he said, but he told me it was brand new looking and prongs completely open and untouched without a diamond in it as he bought the setting and diamond separately then had it set. I just really wish I could know who or where it originated from.

All in all, it's an amazing ring and I've never gotten strange or ill vibes from it, just joy, love, romance, magic and old world charm. I stare at it a lot...it's so brilliant, especially the main stone. It flashes such sparkles and the color that emits from it are crazy. Sometimes I see whites, yellows, tans and even glints of red! It sparkles in day and night and just makes me smile. I wouldn't change it for the world and would never ever upgrade. This is part of me and us and it's forever.

Thanks for letting me ramble on, sometimes I get going and just get on a roll, lmao <3

Finally got my wedding ring & e-ring resized so I can wear them on the right finger! Hope I will be able to get them resized back down again in a little while.

E-ring is 0.55 carats & E colour - ags 000 bought online from the u.s.a many moons ago. First picture is reflecting my peach coloured shirt I think! Rings made by a local jeweler in YG with platinum prongs.

Nice present Supersleuth! I  that solitaire in YG!

Dear Bastetcat,

Many thanks for the compliment. I'm enjoying my ring. I had it valued recently for insurance purposes and the valuer said that he could tell that the diamond was excellent before he looked at the certificate. The yellow prongs were my idea. I live in (mostly cloudy) Scotland and the weather can be rather grey and so I didn't want my ring to have any grey on it.

Interestingly, the yellow prongs don't make the diamond look yellow.

Best wishes,

Supersleuth

Another three blingy pictures

The first is in direct sunlight, the second is in a well-lit room with spot lighting and a nearby window, and the third is outside on a grey Scottish September day.

Please note that on the last photo I've photographed my ring with some CZ art deco earrings just to show that yellow prongs don't colour the majority of the diamond. There is a tiny bit of yellow reflected just next to the prong but as this is about (I estimate) about 0.2 mm from the prong it isn't going to affect the light going into the table.

I finally have a ring to share. The center stone is .59 and each side stone is .20. This is a reset from a prong set three stone. Graded I, SI1.

I hope you'd make a new topic here in SMTB... :naughty:

My 0.70 ct center promise ring given to me years ago. The setting has about many tiny tiny diamonds to accent the center diamond. The setting is in 18k white gold. Center diamond is an uncert H/SI1 (eye clean) round brilliant. Size 5.5

FI proposed recently with a 3.5 ctw cushion cut e-ring. But I still wear my promise ring, as it has sentimental value. Plus I feel more safe wearing this promise ring when I travel. I totally love it then and i still love it now.
