That's an interesting EC PattyCo! I love the long and narrow shape!

Do you think you could try to post more pics...maybe a little more clearer? :))

Thank you, Junebug17. It's from James Allen and those new videos and spinnable pictures are soooooo much fun, not to mention dangerous to the wallet, LOL!

Warm regards :)

PattyCo where is your wedding band from? What is the width of it, I really like it!!

Here's my .25c E-ring. Soon to be replaced with something much larger, in celebration of our 25th anniversary, which was August 6th. I don't recall the exact specs of this, but I believe it's fairly high colour, maybe f or g, and I recall that it was at least VS1 clarity (I specifically remember the sales person making much of the clarity). It was June, 1987 and my husband and I literally walked into a mall jewellery store and bought the ring. I was 19, and he was 22! This was all we could afford, and we had no idea what we were doing! It's a pretty ring, and I do love it, but 25 years and two beautiful daughters later, it's definitely time for an upgrade. I'm going to take this diamond and have it set in a three stone ring at some point down the road. TFL!

Thank you for the compliment, JoLaura84.

We got the wedding band from JB Robbins about 8 years ago, so the paperwork is MIA. I suspect it is about 2mm. The diamonds only go half way around and they are prong-set. I take it in every 6 months to be check and have never had a problem with loose or lost diamonds. It's a true work horse of a wedding band...LOL!

Best regards,
Patty

P.S.
The emerald rings' band is from James Allen and is 3.3mm, if that is any help in figuring out the mm of the wedding band.

Your rings look lovely on your hand rileyl! Please post your upgrade when you get it! Do you have anything specific in mind?

Thanks Junebug. Yes, I've already purchased my ring, but I haven't got it yet. You'll recognize her when you meet her. :) She made her debut on this forum some months ago, but that's all I'm saying for now! :) Pics will follow literally within minutes of me putting her on! Hopefully next Saturday. I can't wait!!

0.92 carat with matching earrings. Not sure of earring carat weight.

Oh my gosh, I can't wait to see it! This is exciting! :appl:

Elysiadiamond, your ring and earrings are really beautiful!

K8tlynS, that's a gorgeous ring!

When I had my ring sized they estimated the center stone to be about a 0.9. Not too shabby for the amazing eBay steal. It was sold to me as a K-L, the guy who sized it for me told me he thought it was an H :-o dont really think that's true, but we were on the floor so had all those jewelry store lights. could have been a dud but something this beautiful for a low price,You've got to take a chance ..... I also included another pic of my e ring. Center is 0.84, so both under a ct, but they pack a whole lot of punch!

Neil, that marquise has me haunting ebay hoping to find a similar deal! Not even joking! I just bought a lovely diamond ring, and I have never had a "thing" for marquise diamonds, but your ring is just GORGEOUS!!

My earrings and ring was also an ebay find. I got an absolute bargain.
The lady was listing all her ex husbands gifts :-)

Good! its so much fun. Especially when you arent in any rush just watch ebay and let the ring find you. They came down like $150 on their asking price too, so always work asking somebody to barter, right :Up_to_something:

and i know what you mean i hated marquise, imagined them as old 80s gold rings, but you find one thats classic and you realize why everyone loved them so
I hope you find a sweet deal one day!

awesome! your ring looks pretty   , have you ever considered using those stones to make a blingy 3 stone?

Yeah I think I'll do that, in a prong setting in a few years when I've stopped having kids. For now I find a bezels great as my pront setting before wouls catch my 7 month old sometimes when changing him etc but now I don't have that problem. :-)
I'm so lucky to have found them for such a bargain, realistically we'd never have afforded to buy something like that brand new, not without sacrificing food haha :-)

Yeah I know what you mean. I have a young one at home and you have to be careful with the rings.

But they'll be a fun thing to look forward too, as soon as you feel some DSS setting in you can change over to a 3 stone. ;)
