Under Budget!!!

We have our final guest count finally (we need to turn it into our venue this weekend) and of 250ish invited, our final count is 165 (we budgeted for 200.) That includes a lot of kids, too - and reduces our chair rental, and our need for a groom''s cake...so we are about $2,500 UNDER BUDGET! I was also worried about the reception room being a bit tight so I just can''t tell you how happy this makes me. Not to mention, many of those who declined have sent gifts

We are building a new home so I am very excited that we can use the extra funds for window treatments and sod.

Wedding is in 16 days

My to-do list is mostly finished....I do need to do placecards, as well as wrap all the bridal party gifts. I have about 20 programs left to finish, need to pack for honeymoon, contact all vendors to confirm, and then of course run errands the week of such as pick up my dress, table runners, have rings sodered, etc.

Can''t believe how wonderful this planning process has been (I will miss it dearly!) We''ve received so much love and support, its overwhelming!

Congratulations on coming in under budget. I''d love it if we could do the same. Since our current projections have us over budget at the moment though, that will definitely take some finagling. Enjoy the sod and window treatments!

Ahhh! I almost posted a thread just like this! I did a little calculating and it looks like I''m coming in under budget as well! Congratulations. It''s a good feeling!

I was kinda bummed when I realized we wouldn''t have nearly as many people as I originally budgeted for, but then when I saw the savings, holy toledo! Yay!

You''re getting married a week before me and I feel like I have about 10 times as many things to get done. You''re inspiring me to get off my butt and finish my tasks!
