seller claimed its a Tourmaline.
this is what i know so far:
hardness:7-7.5
specific gravity :2.47 (tested a few times)
low magnetic response (flotation method,it moves a bit if i used a strong magnet)
very clean by naked eye and some inclusions/bubbles under x20 loupe
no response /absorbation lines/any pattern that i can see with my diffraction grading spectroscope.
with my cheap quality toy microscope i can see bubbles under x100
if i look farther at around x50 this bubbles have an irregular shapes, also i see like a rainbow color inside and around them. when i saw the bubbles first i was almost wanted to say -GLASSe kind of synthetic lab made, but than i tested my 100% natural "almandine garnet" that i have, and got the same bubbles shaped inside,so now i am not so sure.
*i don't have refractometer to check the refractive index
checked with the"laptop screen' method,i couldn't confirm that its dichroic but maybe my eyes missed something.
so i need another options
appreciate any help.

I can't say what it is but I would return it if possible. That window is, unfortunately, huge! :confused2:

Ps. I do like all your pics though. They are interesting to look at. ;)2

Looks like some type of Quartz. It has a waxy luster, the right hardness and sg values. I'm not sure if it's natural or synthetic.

it's possible. rose/rose the france /weak color amethyst
that luster could happen from the polish also... who knows.

SG is a bit low to be quartz i think.
