I like many Taffin pieces but this isn't my favorite. I guess James de Givenchy was trying to play up the tint hue of the diamond by setting it with brown ceramic shank...?

This ring would've been take-my-breath-away beautiful if the shank were in a buttery rich 18k yellow gold!! The brown just leaves me feeling....:oops2:

I love Taffin too. Like, virtually every piece they've made makes my heart flutter.

But this ring is a real disappointment. I dislike the brown ceramic and the composition and balance is off. Now, a satiny yellow gold, maybe some kind of split shank? Yum.
