UProng Eternity Band- Low profile vs high

I am working with IDJ to make a u prong ring. I loved the uprong ring Lag2010 has and that is my inspiration. I asked ID about how that one looks more open and the prong are pinched to give a scallop look. They said that is personal preference and it looks like that ring is a lower profile. Can I see any of your lower profile Uprong vs higher Profile U prong. I attached LAg2010's picture for reference

Does a higher UProng make the diamond stand out more?
I'm looking at 20 pointers on a size 7 ring.

I think the general consensus here is that a lower set eternity band is preferred because it is more comfortable. That is the main advantage of a U-prong. Having 20 pointer stones set higher will not make much of a difference visually.

Mine is fairly low profile, but my stones are 10 pointers, which contributes to that factor. Here's the link to my thread.

I also went through IDJ to get my eternity band 4yrs ago. I did not specify wanting a scalloped look, but did request that the diamonds (0.25 pointers per stone) were set low for comfort. After is was constructed, this is one of the vendor pic that Luann (when she worked there) sent to me. I hope it helps

I was a super stickler requesting a low profile and comfort fit for my U-prong band too. I was really worried about what other PSer's were saying in threads about high profile sitting eternity bands. Mine is two rows of 25 pointers and is super comfortable.

Sounds like profile really is the way to go for comfort. I'm excited to get that Uprong ring it has been on my wish list for years now. Thanks ladies!
