Has anyone used one of their vintage chains to make a diamond station necklace? I have this vintage chain and a few rescue stones all about the same size and I was thinking of having bezels added to the stones and putting them in the chain. Is this worth doing? I have no idea what it should cost to add, say 5 stones. I figured they could be put in between these links. Any thoughts?

I think the biggest concerns would be the proportion of the bezels to the links and if the bezels flip. If you figure that out, do it.

i so want this to work
good luck

Me too! I have a vintage station necklace in yellow gold that I would like to replicate with this white metal one. My loose stones are larger, but I'm hoping they will work anyway. Here's the YG one. The chains are similar so that's why I'm hoping I can put this together with the pieces that I have.

DK has taken on the project and I'm shipping the stones and chain this week. I can't wait to see the results.
