Hello experts! I am considering the attached diamond/ring to propose to my gf... pretty sure she will like it, but want to ensure we would be paying a fair price. Can any of you provide guidance on what a fair number would be for the diamond? (I appreciate it is difficult without actually seeing it... but hoping for ballpark)

Size: 1.89cts
Shape: Circular brilliant cut (transitional I think?)
Measurements: 8.06 x 8.16 x 4.68 mm
Color: G
Clarity: VVS2
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None
Table top: 56%

Some photos and the GIA report are attached.. and thanks for any comments!

That looks really beautiful! I can't read the lab report numbers, but it may be a bit shallow because it looks like there is obstruction from the camera in the first picture. What is the depth?

The GIA report has the following (not sure if any are the "depth"):

Table top area: 56%

then to the left of the diamond profile view it says:
###
thin
-
medium
(faceted)
###

then through the profile view top to bottom it has:
###
57.7%
________
medium
###

it might be too shallow.

Yes, that is pretty shallow. I hope Dreamer will see this because she has a transitional and shopped extensively until she found her stone, so she can give you some good advice about it.

Ok thanks..... I will be on the lookout for Dreamer!
