What are everyone''s plans for the big day of romance (single or attached)! Are you going out or staying in? Any special surpises or presents?

My FI and I are keeping it small and ordering some food to go (Outback I think! OUR FAV!), eating it at home by the candlelight and a little champagne. As far a s a present I am not sure yet... wink wink ;o)

I would love to hear what all you fellow PSers are doing to make the day special.

I''m hoping FI has done a little something special, but highly doubtful knowing him! (A girl can hope, though, right???)

I took him to a concert for an early V-Day surprise in January and also made reservations at our favorite restaurant forThursday night, so at least I will get a fantastic prime rib and an evening out with my honey!

Um. He''s helping me study for a stats test that I have at 10am on Friday.

Thank goodness he''s an ex stats tutor and teaches stats in hos own class and actually likes the subject.

It''s not going to be a huge romantic holiday this year, that''s for sure.

Harleigh, concerts are fun! I especially like the holidays that last more than one day!

Frekechild, that does not sound fun (BOOOOOO!), maybe a little bubbly while studying??? The bubbles might envigorate the brain. Hehe a girl can wish! Good luck on your test!

We''re going to our favorite restaurant--YAY! Bottle of wine, good food, a gift he keeps hinting about

-and my little gift for him.

We kind of have an "every day is Valentine''s Day" household, but we try to make the actual day special.

Good topic!

I have no idea. I have class in the evening and then I have to go into work so I don''t think there will be too much going on

We''ll be in NYC on VDay, we arrive Thursday and have dinner reservations at an amazing steakhouse that we both love. The trip just so happened to coincide with a business trip DH needs to take and I get to tag along. Should be a fun, long weekend.

He won''t be home. I''m snowed in. This is not good.

We''ll be staying in, but I''m taking off half a day to whip up our dinner. We''ll have spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, Roasted Lamb Chops with mint yogurt sauce, hasselbeck potatoes (baked potatoes basted with butter and chicken broth, then crusted with breadcrumbs and parm cheese), my "special" asparagus with prosciutto, and molten chocolate cakes for dessert. I can''t wait!

We''re not big Vday people, but it''s always a good excuse to make a really yummy meal!

We''re not big Vday people, either, but we went to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant on Sunday, a week early, to miss the Vday crowds.

Don''t know what we''ll do...maybe hit up some museums, make sure we get out of the house...

We''ll both be at work. Late.

We did go out for a nice dinner yesterday though.
