I get to choose which type of comb I want on my veil but I don''t know which would be better. Thought I''d ask you guys for a little help.

I heard somewhere awhile ago that metal stays better but is more difficult to get out and could thus ruin a hairdo and that plastic stays less well but can be removed problem free.

Any experience with this?

I would definitely go with metal... so that if you need to you can adjust the little "prongs" or "teeth"

I personally had a metal comb and it didnt affect my hairstyle at all... even when I had to take off mid-ceremony.

I just think that with plastic, you are stuck with it... at least with the metal you can make a minor adjustment if needed.

Hope that helps.

I think mine is coming with metal...

Mine is metal. I hadn''t thought about it, but Jaders has a good point... you can bend it if necessary. Plus, plastic can sometimes break.

The nice thing with metal is that the prongs are little loops, so it''s easy to bobby pin in place.

I had metal, but didn''t take it off the whole time.

Okay, good points on the adjustability thing. I only thought the difference was that one looked a bit nicer (the metal obviously)! I went and ordered the metal comb. Thanx for the info, PSers!

metal!!

i was soooo happy i could bend it flatter than they had it. it sat much better on my head once i adjusted it.
and no problems with the hair do & the metal comb.

eta: i see you''ve ordered metal.
