Vera Wang 2005 Collection

Hi guys,
I''m the newbie to this site but have read all our your posts. You all seem so willing to help out so I am hoping you can be of assistance...

I am looking for a Vera Wang dress from the 2005 Collection. It is strapless and has an overlay of french netting along with a grey/charcoal sash. I don''t know the item number but I MUST HAVE THIS DRESS! If anyone has this dress or knows where i can get one (at a discount, of course

) I would be so so so appreciative.

PS I had my heart set on the Dora until this dress and LOVED the post from Crown Jewel compiling all the posts from the Dora/swiss dot theme.

There''re a lot of website where you can find used dresses, or try on ebay. I''ve purchased a VW last month, after trying to find my dress online for 2,5 months, couldn''t find it in my size, so decided to finally buy it new.

Hiya,

One thing you could try to identify the dress is looking on the Vera Wang website. If you have a picture of it, maybe you can e-mail it to the boutique and ask for help.

Then scan second hand and sample sites (preownedweddingdresses.com, savethedress.com, bridepower.com) and visit consigners in your city.

Thank you all so much. I have checked many websites including the ones mentioned by Dutchgirlll and Independent Gal, but will, of course, continue the search until I find it.... or go crazy. Which ever comes first.

Facetfire..THAT IS THE DRESS!! I have looked on Vera''s website as well as other''s but couldn''t find an item number. But that is definitely it. Honestly, that picture does it NO justice. It is beautiful and would be PERFECT for our beach wedding.

Tcole, I would definitely suggest that you check and re-check Ebay for your dress. I originally fell in love with a VW at the store and then found it on ebay for almost $2,000 less a week later. People put dresses on there all the time and there is a link to an Ebay store called "Your Dream Dress" that has quite a few VWs as well.

I bought my ''04 Vera Wang at a sample sale and couldn''t find pictures of it anywhere, this was the only site that had it.

THANKS DUTCHGIRLLL!! I saw it too. I talked to the seller and she has altered the hem. I am 6''0 and need all the length I can get.

I''m still waiting to hear back on how many inches she took off...so there could still be hope.

But honestly, I''m still open to the Dora...so if anyone hears of a Dora roaming around...let me know.

Hey! I just saw your dress in the international section of ebay Vera Wang Ebay. Perhaps she can ship oversees? I don''t see why not. Anyway, it''s worth a shot! Good luck...BTW...they dress is beautiful and the shape is similar to mine (I also wore Vera Wang for my wedding)!
