I know it depends on personal preference but...
If you had a choice (for a 3/4 round brilliant) to set in either:

1) Verragio Classico: http://www.verragio.com/Verragio-Engagement-Rings/Classico-Engagement-Rings/CLASSICO-0356#section1 - but set with .23 carat total side stones (because stone is under a carat)

or

2) Vatche Grace: http://www.exceldiamonds.com/-Engagement-Rings-5/Diamond-Accent-Engagement-Rings-12/Vatche-Grace-Diamond-Ring--180-1540.html - .30 carat total setting weight

or

3) Tacori: http://www.tacori.com/Engagement-Rings/2623RDSMP

or

4) Ritani: http://www.ritani.com/products/view/944/in_collection/8

- .43 carat total weight in setting

I just can''t decide!

Which would you choose and why?

30 views and no one has an opinion? Come on, help me out please :)

Hmmm, of those four....I lean towards the Tacori and the Ritani. And prob the Tacori because to me, the side view is better than the Ritani.

Interestingly enough, there''s been another thread going on right now about rings similar to those latter 2 you posted. See here:

And a thread with an owner of that Ritani ring:

I think it is hard to comment on since you have such a variety of styles there. Not trying to be mean, but maybe why it is hard to comment.

Personally I like the Veraggio best. I tried it on myself and it is classy and just plain beautiful!!! My least favorite is Tacori. I feel it is just too busy.

I like the other two, but like I said I think veraggio just has an elegant and beautiful piece there. Looks fabulous with a plain wedding band or with diamond band (like I have)

What is your style like? Is there anything that is jumping out to you with one more than another?

OK I like the Verragio and the Tacori the best (here are clickable links)

Verragio

Tacori

The Verragio is nice because the halo is larger diamonds than lots of halos, and I also like the way the center diamond is set higher than the halo...makes it really stand out and not get lost with the halo.

The Tacori is nice too, pretty and more ornate looking...also gorgeous!

I also like the one from WF that someone posted...

have you seen these in person? That might help make your decision easier...or keep browsing PS for lots of great pics :)

also let us know what you decide!!! and then post pictures :)

I like the Verrago or the Ritani. One looks more solitaire the other is more BLINGY. Either would be a GREAT choice.

I like the verragio - it''s very pretty... the tacori is 2nd for me... the vatche looks common and the ritani looks like a saw blade from the side or something - I don''t like how they set the melee or something.

Not sure if you saw my thread or not, but I recently purchased that Verragio ring for my soon to be. The center diamond is .817 so it is not too much larger than the stone you are going to use and Verragio used the regular sized melee stones for the halo. If you want to see some (crappy) pictures that I took with my camera phone to judge what it looks like, check out my thread with the title BGD and Verragio-together at last!

Hope this helps a little.

Oh, and FYI....I love how the ring turned out and everyone who I got opinions from thought it was amazing. I''m positive she is going to love it.

Another vote for the verragio. I like it the best of those you mentioned. I also like the wf guinevere as mentioned above.

I agree that it''s difficult to say because each ring is quite different but I am primarily drawn towards the Veraggio and the Ritani- the other two are much more angular.

I agree with Cehrabehra that I think the Vatche, while beautiful is a little common looking and I don''t want it just to look trendy. It does have a beautiful profile though.

I think the Tacori is beautiful and maybe if I had a 1 carat + it would be more justifed for the intricacy. I think the top shot is stunning but is a bit too detailed maybe on the profile.

I think I am leaning toward the Verragio. When I contacted Soloman Bros. they said the halo stones would have to go down to .23 due to the size of my stone but I looked at yours niceice and it looks great... where did you purchase? It is beautiful!

I also adore the Ritani. I love the delicate band while still providing a little bling.

Right now I think I am leaning toward the Verragio. Do you think .23 would look ok - do any of you have pics of this size melee? Do you think the .45 melee halo would look ok around a .78 carat stone or would it get lost?

I purchased the Verragio from a local jeweler. I did not even know that it came with a smaller melee option. I am not sure how big your diamond faces up, but her center stone is 6.03-6.06 and the appraiser said the melee stones were alittle over 2mm. I think they go ok together, obviously a bigger center would probably look a little better, but this still works IMO. I think the pictures on the 2nd page of my thread accurately show how the proportions look in real life.

I like the Tacori and the vatche. Tacoris are just so beautiful from all angles. The vatche is a nice option similar to the Tiffany Legacy, but is still unique. I agree it is a little trendy so if you want more traditional, go with the Tacori. More trendy...go with the vatche. Hope this helps!

Would you like an apple, a banana, a peach, or a plum?

You need to try them on, they are all SOOOOO different!

I love the Verragio that you seem to be favouring. I like the large melee, but I think that the smaller melee will look even better.

Thanks everyone. I think there is one Verragio dealer in my area so I guess I will contact them to see if they have the setting in stock or can order for me to look at. I will keep you posted!

Good luck! The Verragio is truly beautiful :)

I like the Verragio and the Ritani but it depends on the look you are going for...
