I was quite surprised by that yellow asscher. I didn’t love it at first sight. I had to concentrate and focus on the stone to see the steps. But when I did, I could tell it was really well cut. Really nice and even and discernible. Although I do prefer the H VS at Darren McClung’s.Looks like you had a great day - I’d have been like a kid in a sweet shop!
I’ve oggled that yellow asscher on Lang’s site many times. That, the 3 carat asscher and the Lang’s red/green chain would be my favourites I think!
Yeah you need to plan on spending 2-3 hours to even notice a fraction of the stuff they have. What’s cool is that almost all their pieces are in their original settings, whenever possible. They produce new settings only when the original ones are not usable. There is just SO MUCH STUFF. Major sensory overload.Yup. as soon as my mom is status quo health-wise again, I'm flying up to SF for the day solely to visit to Lang (okay, I may also fit in a quick visit with my sis and adorable nephew)...
Thank you so much for these photos ... I love these kinds of threads, and this one in particular has so many that appeal to me ... love love love!
Wow looks like so much fun and all the pieces are incredible!!! That antique asscher is TDF
Any stats on that droolworthy honkin' OEC in the case? I would've wanted to play with that bauble and never ever give her back!!
