Vintage 18ct amethyst ring

I've posted this on the vintage forums but this is my home so i cant not post here too.

Impulse purchase; I've wanted something vintage/antique forever now so i thought I'd start by dipping my toes in.

Its not about the CS (i know that's blasphemy over here ) but this purchase really wasn't about the amythist. It might very well be glass!

Glass in an 18ct gold setting though for which I paid a price im more then happy with!

Just incase it isnt glass, it's a huuuge medium purple amytheist with offshoots of pink and blue in the sun. Gaping huge window however but like i say this one wasn't about the CS. That was a happy extra.

I love it right now it's huge and fabulous and I'm pretending I'm some ultra important Victorian princess about to attend a royal engagement

What a gorgeous new ring, @theredspinel !i love how much stature it has, while remaining so light. It really is a ring for every occasion, easily noticeable and grand, and delightfully simple, festive and organic all at once. The 2 beautiful complimentary colors, gold/yellow with purple, is so pretty. It just looks Like ‘happiness’....a celebration of joy.
