Earlier this year I got lucky and found a treated green diamond.
I never thought that would happen, one day
my SO said, with your luck you will probably find another.
I did…
I had a hunch and I was correct, treatment is unknown (until I decide how I will reset, I will wait for GIA) I don’t really care about treatments as it’s beautiful but it does peak my curiousity, as a collector.
For some background I did have a jeweler test it, an RI test was also performed to rule out moissanite and there also appears to be some rough under one of the prongs under a microscope.
It’s a light sage green color, in lights it’s a bit bluish green (it has a blue-green fluorescence) I’ve never had a diamond with natural green fluorescence so I’m not sure how that looks (only blue, white and yellow).

How does one usually set smaller diamonds? I don’t really want a cocktail ring. I was thinking something celestial or maybe a toi et moi with a small step cut. I’m certain I want to set in rose gold and platinum.
I would love to see any ideas on how others have set smaller stones.

Please excuse my hands it was a very cold morning and my skin does not take well to cold weather.
