Visting GOG soon, yay!

Hi Ladies,

BF and I are going to go and check out some rings/settings at GOG in the next few weeks hopefully. I''m very excited, although he wants to ultimately select the ring we decided it would be a fun, good idea to go try some stuff on together. So far I''ve been seriously underwhelmed by the mall stores that we popped into. I''m excited to see what GOG has, especially since I think I''m in love with ovals and want to try to see some in person. Kay and Whitehall had pretty much no selection of ovals.

Anyway, once we go I''ll let you all know how my experience was. From all the postings/reviews in here I am really excited to speak to a good, down to earth jeweler, yay!

OH boy I''m SO jealous!! I''m on the GOG site like every day!!! We live in Chicago though so it''s not like I can visit any time!

I keep bugging the BF to use his frequent flier miles on a little weekend trip to NY

Good luck definitely keep us posted on how it goes, I''m very interested to know what a trip to GOG is like!!

i didnt know what GOG stood for so i googled it and came up with Gynecologic Oncology Group. hahahahhaha
so then i added diamonds to the search and found out what it REALLY stands for! looks like a good company, hope you have a great time see if they will let ya take some pictures!

I''ll definitely try to take some pictures of my favorites, we''ll see if that''s allowed. The more we look at rings the more excited I get. I''m totally in the dark though as to when a proposal is coming. While I like that part, it''s also a little nerve wracking for someone who''s a total control freak like myself!
