Thank you, I love the engraving too. I'm glad this color combo worked out well!Your new ring has a beautiful color combination I love the engraving on the metal!
Thank you, T L ! That means a lot to me.Wow, another beautiful piece. You’re really amassing a gorgeous collection!!
I love the color of my demantoids. However, they are not currently available in Yvonne's Etsy shop now. She described the ones I bought out (7 in total) back in Jan/Feb 2019 as top color in Russian demantoids. The ones featured in her shop now look more yellow than the ones I bought (which are a saturated bright and minty green). I think you could have her reach out to her Russian source or you could wait for Tucson 2020, when I'm sure she will replenish her inventory.Prettttttyyyyyy!
I’m considering buying some demantoids. What do you think of the color?
Very lovely! Ive also a weakness for purple sapphires witch have that calm soft appearance in daylight and then become a beast in incandescent light!!
Can I ask what kind of gem that lavender is? Looks very delicious
Oh, thank you! Coming from someone who has an excellent collection himself, it means a lot to me and makes me blush.Amazing color for a sapphire!!
Haha, although I did talk about setting things in other metals, when it comes to the gems I love most in my collection, I do set them in platinum, like this favourite sapphire of mine. I'm so glad I did not go with MRose for this project, but Enhoerning.
Tagging @elle_71125 because I got the idea of haloing the sidestones from her 3-paraiba ring, although in my ring, the side stones are kite diamonds and not pear shapes. The cat and fish design for the gallery isn't the most elegant, but is a personal touch symbolising me and my DF.

Yes, well, Leslie, I am really down the rabbit hole this year, setting gems left and right. I'm also setting a few with Daniel M sand Yvonne, which I keep hush-hush as some are gifts for friends and family, but the ones that are for me, I will share them with you all on PS.How pretty, voce, I didn't know that you had a blue sapphire ring in the works! Beautiful but wearable design, which I really like

Yes, this is the stone from page 5, post #140 of this thread. The pictures I posted back then were taken under kitchen fluorescent lighting with a mediocre phone, and I know that Inken takes her studio shots using natural light and white light reflectors, no filtering or digital color tampering.GREAT shade of blue! Are there more photos of this stone or ring?
ETA: wait is it the stone from page 5 of this thread? It looks lighter and brighter now.

After I receive the ring, I should take some pictures with my digital camera instead of phone. The color should turn out more true to life that way. It was just finished today, so I'll be receiving it next week.
I do think that in most lighting, my sapphire is somewhat darker, particularly when worn on the finger. Here is a still from Inken's video.Amazing how lighting can make such a difference with colored stones. I look forward to your photos!
Maybe one day she'll get so busy that she doesn't, but currently she does take custom projects for stones not purchased from her. If you purchase stones from her, though, she will be able to make a lower offer for setting cost, as she blends her margins together to give you a better overall deal.Just curious, does Inken take custom project for stones not purchased from her?

Here is another small but mighty design that is in the queue for this year.
I find that although I admire big honkers on other people, I feel happier being able to do a bunch of small but mighty projects, given the same budget.
Next with Enhoerning is that Jedi spinel! Looking forward to seeing the CAD sometime next week?
