It''s amazing for how many people express opinions about who they think should be president, so few people showed up at the caucus. I''m not sure if the group of 150 voting in the school I was at was for my entire zip code, but it was us few people there representing what is suppose to be the the entire state of Washington''s opinion, which is kind of scary in my opinion. If only the caucus could be mail in.

At any rate, now I know what a delegate is

All the details were fuzzy to me before today.

Did anyone else go to their caucus?

Good for you, MC and glad it was a positive experience and I, too, wish more people would take the time to do the same as you.

I''m Canadian, live in Vancouver, so I can''t vote ... but my bf is American, lives in Seattle. He wanted to vote at the Caucus but didn''t register in time. Arrgh. He was upset about it but seemingly didn''t realize that he had missed the deadline.

I tend to be ignorant about this stuff ... How did you know when/how you had to register?

Thanks! I''ll do my best. You know how that goes ...

We wanted to be there but it was too far out of town, my husband couldn''t get away from work, and it would have been too late to go in the evening. I really wanted to go, but since he was voting one way and I the other, we would have cancelled each other out.

I''m glad you got a lot out of the experience, MC. It is so important to vote in the caucuses and primaries.
