Hi guys Lucass here, nice to meet you all.
I want to buy an engagement diamond ring for my girl.
I read a lot about diamonds and almost decided. Still have some questions so I decided to write here.
The budget for the diamond should be $1100. The ring gonna be a 14k White Gold
I want it to be round and close to 0.4 - 0.5 Carat, based on my budget
I want the diamond to be clean on the visible eye and I will go with bluenile only(due to the country I'm in)
Clarity: VS2 and above
I mean, I only want the diamond to look nice for the naked eye but at the same time, I would not go with a lower clarity since the diamond will be bought online and the only way I could see those black and ugly inclusions is on that bluenile 360 picture.
Color I and above - I made a quick research and found out that on this I color that possible yellow tent it's not detectable by naked eye on this color. Especially for small 0.5 carat diamond
Cut: Ideal or Astor Ideal
Fluorescence: None or Faint(for I color only)
What do you guys think about this one? *it says sold out probably 'cause I reserved it
It's a 0.46 ca with excellent polish and cut grade, I color, VS2 but I see a lot of white spots on that video. I also take in consideration the grade from stonealgo which is a 9.3 based on their advanced metrics.
Should I be worried about that cloud, crystal considering is VS2?
So, are those clarity problems something that may be visible for the naked eye or I shouldn't worry about? Are those factors visible only by using a magnifying glass?
Maybe I can find a better one based on my filters
