Walk the Line...and an interesting comment..

Last night I watched the movie "Walk the line" (about the life of J. Cash)...I had not seen it yet but it was on HBO or something.

Anyway, I ended up having dreams with Johnny Cash all night! hehe...only his name was (my BF''s name) not Johnny

...aww...it was so romantic!!

...he kept asking me to maryy him 100 times (like in the movie)...and I finally said yes!

In other interesting news....

BF came over this weekend and I gave him a present for his new house. He loved it and we started talking about how I can never keep surprises quiet (even though I did manage to leave this gift as a complete surprise!). So we are talking and then somehow he brings up how the guys get nothing for engagement. I said I thought some gals did give their BF''s an engagement gift, and I thought I would give him something but not to expect it the "day of" because I couldn''t get a gift now and hold on to it until he proposed. I''m terrible at keeping secrets so I would probably end up just telling him what it was!...

Anyway....here is his comment: "Baby you just can''t keep a secret!....see with me, I could have something in my night table or closet for 6 months and you would never know!"....

Of course there goes my crazy mind....does he have "something" in his closet??? or maybe on his night table?...is it time to snoop around??

...hehe...I won''t, but the thought did cross my mind!.

I know he knows what I thought about when he said. Why would he say that?...Men are their mind games or maybe just lack of knowledge as to how far my mind can travel in a matter of seconds!!!

The harm it would do is that it would drive me INSANE if I found a box and INSANE if I didn''t!!...so I will stay away

Plus stillwaiting is right...he wouldn''t tell me that if there was really something there!...

I think he just wanted to gage my reaction and play with my head....and fish for a gift for himself! hehehe

haha mandarine that is so something greg would say to me re: the side table. and then of course i'd be like WELL IS IT IN THERE??!! men!! when i was waiting for the ring, i knew it was being made and i wasn't sure if he had it so i would kind of 'fish around' in his drawers...but i'd pretend i was like putting away clothes or something. so sneaky! the funniest part was one day i found a jewelry box in there, like a ring box!! i almost hyperventilated. i didn't open it and it took a ton of willpower and instead i just thought obsessively about it. well that wasn't it (i found out later it wasn't ready yet) and i think he did that just to tease me! evil.

You know what''s funny...that sometimes I dream that I already have the ring and wake up looking for it so I can put it on!! hehehe....My mind just has a "mind" of its own!.

Boys ARE evil!.....he might have been fishing for a gift but I think he knows EXACTLY what I thought when he made that comment! specially right after mentioning engagement!.

Now I just kind of play around with him on the subject. I sent him the article on the golf-sized diamond that they found and told him I would be ok with something smaller...hehe
