Wanted to share part I of my bridesmaids gifts

4 pendants from Daniel M on Etsy. He sourced the stones (7mm rounds) - citrine, peridot, blue/pink topaz. I'm looking for some cute small purses to gift them in.

Finding matching colored purses or wrist-lets or even jewelry pouches would be fun! I love how you have chosen a color for each of your girls. I bet that was tough! Alot of thought went into it! Great job!

Casa - wasn't so hard, they all chose a colour and their saris are in that colour in the morning, their pendants are in that colour, their purses will be in that colour... yellow likes chicken and pink likes salmon. Funny, that

Yssie, I was a bm for my SIL and she did the same thing for all her girls. There were three of us. Anyway, over the years, in all her gifts she repeats that color in some way in our gifts. It is her way of saying she remembers. And we all get a moment of remembering her special day. Warm and fuzzy just talking about it!

REALLY? Yellow likes chicken? Too funny.

Casa - that's really sweet

my darling bms may just be looking at a lifetime of colour coordinated gifts. And maybe I'll discover that green enjoys tending broccoli sproutlings, as my ministrations seem to be causing them to off themselves at really quite alarming rates...

If I was a colour I'd be dark red. Or, I'd better be, as that and grey/black/white are the only colours I'll willingly wear, and noone but FI wants me buck naked all the time - at least that I know of

Oooh - love them Am! They're so nicely priced, too, and I see they have a bigger size for just a bit more.. I'll look into that!

You can also provide a stone of your own. I did this for my BMs and had a combo of ovals and round stones. I think the price is the same whether you go custom stones or use their sources.

Yay, those are awesome yssie! I''m totally going to order those for my BMs in their favorite colors. I''ve kept them on my short list of wedding things to remember ever since Claritek suggested them.

Is there a particular reason why you chose to have him source out the 7mm stones instead of using his regular 6mm stones?

S&I - I just liked the idea of 7mm stones better, I''m not sure why but 6mm seemed too small somehow. The 7mms were a pretty penny more though.

I am hoping to do something similar for my girls.. only I''d like to have bezel set blue topaz in different shapes (one round, trillion, emerald and square) or something of that nature.
