Oh and the roads will be clear tomorrow, it''s nonly 3 inches.............if Thanksgiving wasn''t tomorrow, the kiddies would have school. I wanted to go shopping tonight but since I''m preggo, DH won''t let me leave the house even though both of us have 4WD cars. I just wanted to get out BEFORE the after Thanksgiving rush. Oh well

Actually we''re moving down a little more south in Indiana to our lake house. My in-laws live 2 doors down and if we have multiples, we''ll tear the roof off and add another story to the house. Good thing I love my in-laws but I will probably be living with them awhile while the house is in renovations. Oh, don''t want to think about it LOL.

I would love to have a white Christmas. Today (Thursday) it''s going to be 28ºC (82ºF in your speak), tomorrow 32ºC (90ºF) and Saturday 34ºC (what a glorious way to end Spring). Traditional Christmas dinners can be a real nightmare in Melbourne - who wants to slave over a hot stove in that sort of heat. I think that''s why so many Aussies now just go the seafood option - prawns, scallops, crayfish - yummy.

I live in South Bend, IN Notre Dame area so we get quite a bit of lake effect snow from Lake Michigan and have pretty snowy winters. We live on a cul de sac and last year the stupid plowers dumped all the snow in our front yard and we had 10 feet of snow there. Boy did my (at the time) 5yo dd LOVE that.

My mother lives 1 hour south of here and they only got freezing rain. My 6yo dd spent the night with her take cook and make pies and when I emailed these pics she was SOOOOOOOOOOO MAD that she wasn''t up here to play in it!! Our yellow lab loves the snow and I have had to go out a lot to make her come back in.

The best Christmas we ever had was a couple of years ago when we were snowed in (translation: didn''t have to go to my in-laws

)...I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow...and all i want is a white Christmas again!

Sevens, are you in maryland????? My uncle lives in balto. I go up to visit them quite a bit and to snoop around in Fells Point.

Love the cobble stone streets there!
