Hi everyone,

I am doing the great "Diamond or Not-To-Diamond" debate for my wedding ring, and I think I''m siding, believe it or not, with the plain band, but I would love to see pictures of what other people have chosen, especially if their engagement rings are fairly simple or similar to mine (a 1.5 RB center diamond with .19 ctw tapered baguette diamond sidestones on a 2 mm flat platinum band). Thanks!

How about the classic band to go with your classic e-ring: a baguette band? Either with the "notch" in the middle to "fit" against your diamond, or all baguettes that won't fit flush but compliments the e-ring and then can "stand alone" (whereas a notched band cannot). What I find really yummy is a baguette eternity band, with the baguettes set East-West!!! Then there is no issue with the baguettes "lining up" or any of that nonsense.

I do think the baguette band would look lovely. Can you post a picture of your e-ring?

Another thought...my sister-in-law had a diamond band as the actual wedding band. But then she got a plain, thicker band after the wedding and wears it between the e-ring and the diamond band. It looks really cool. I am going to see her tonight, so I will take a picture of all three so you can see what I am rambling on about...

Its kind of hard to explain, so hopefully the picture will say it better...will post it later.
