I think they are both very pretty... were you hoping for her to wear these for the wedding or is it just to enjoy aftrwards?

Actually they are both for her for after the wedding. I think she has jewelry for the ceremony already. Do you have any other suggestions that may work?

Thanks.

Both are beautiful! My husband gave me this necklace on our wedding day and I wear it ALL the time. Perhaps it''s another option you could consider.

I think he was also able to get some money off by using a coupon code that he found on line or something so be sure to look around for those discounts if you do end up getting her something from Blue nile

Have you thought about getting her a nice pair of diamond studs? Whiteflash has some gorgeous ones, and if you go with building your own, she can always upgrade the stones if she wants to. *Drools over ACA studs in 3 prong martini settings*

Another idea is to get her a watch--there are some absolutely gorgeous women's watches out there and you could have the back engraved with your names and the date.

Unfortunately, she has had the fortune of having very nice diamond passed down through her family to her so she already has a nice pear of studs and received a really nice watch for law school graduation. So my options are limited as she wears those everyday. She has a classic style and doesn''t wear bracelets all that much. These are the reasons I am struggling with the gift.

What about getting her something with sapphires? The Natural Sapphire Company has some absolutely GORGEOUS stones, and a lovely sapphire and diamond pendant would be classy and wearable. Plus, aren''t sapphires supposed to symbolize loyalty and fidelity? Nice thing to pledge on your wedding day.

thanks for the ideas; I will definitely start looking at some sapphires as well.

I LOVE this necklace also! They have some bezel diamond studs that would be perfect with it! I''ve been lusting over this type of necklace and earrings for a very long time!

Meger: How old is your fiancee? What does she do? Knowing a little more info about her might help us give you a better opinion.

my FI will be in a similar sitch to yours because my dad has bought me jewelry for every milestone in my life, so they''re all covered, but i loooooove that necklace, especially that the stone is square and hanging by the corner--neat twist on a classic! a simple locket might would be neat, too. you could get it engraved and put pix of the two of you in it, and it''d have future heirloom potential as well. maybe something like below? good luck, and i''m sure she''ll love whatever you decide on!
