Wedding guest age spread

As our RSVP''s are trickling in I have been thinking about the different groups invited to the wedding. FI and my peers made up mostly of friends and cousins, our parents'' friends and their generation plus aunts and uncles, and elderly relatives. I would estimate that maybe 40% of our list is our generation, 40% is made up of our parents'' generation, and 20% by more elderly guests. I was curious what your lists were made up of and how, if at all, you think this will effect your celebration!

I think ours will be more like 30% our generation, 60% parent''s generation and 10% elderly. I wanted to keep the guest list small, and it was more important to me to have the relatives there (like my parent''s cousings that I''m close to). I think it''s only made a difference to a couple decisions. I''m going to display photos from my parent''s and FI''s parent''s weddings so people can reminisce, and I''ll probably tell the DJ to play more music from their generation.

I think we will have more like 30% our age, 50% parents ago, and maybe 20% older age. We didn''t invite too many of our friends, but we definitely have a lot of family coming, and a good amount of my parent''s friends.

Oh well, I''m sure it will be a good party anyway!

I''d take a stab at guessing around 40% younger crowd, 50% Parents Gen, 10% elderly.

We have about 50% our age and 50% our parents age. All of our grandparents have passed away as have most of our elderly relatives so there is barely anyone over 70 at the wedding. My little sister who''s 17 will be the youngest that''s attending.

We have 7% elderly, 1.5% young kids (Hopefully FSIL will be preggo by then, that''s the .5%

), probably 30% our gen, and the rest is my parents. But they get down to the get down.
