Hi Everyone,
As per our wedding planner''s instructions, we will not be having a rehearsal the night before our wedding in Maui, but Rusty''s parents have insisted on hosting something, so I suggested we do a "Welcome Dinner." However, the cost of any of the places I have found to accommodate a group of 20-30 people near Lahaina/Ka''anapali is almost up there with the actual dinner reception we are having following our wedding ceremony the next night, which seems like way too much for his parents to fork out. So, I have been trying to find a place in West Maui to do a "Welcome Lunch," but most places I have found are almost as expensive for lunch as for the dinners.
Does anyone know of any inexpensive (affordable) but nice restaurants to do either a lunch or dinner at on west Maui? I was thinking something "family-style" much like Buca di Beppo, but I can''t find anything like that in the guidebooks, and no one I know has been there recently, so am turning to the experts here in hopes of some suggestions.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
