Went gown shopping!

And got to narrow it down to four gowns instead of 9! This first one is 5163 from Maggie Sottero. I love the neckline, and it was so comfortable I didn''t want to take it off!

As pretty as these two are, I wish they had more in the way of detail. I searched the Sottero site, and I think I would order either the Melody, or the Margot. I have to go back to the Sottero & Midgely site, and review those styles now that I''ve tried a bunch on and know what to expect with the fit.

My vote goes to the second one... it looks gorgeous on you! If you get the chance, you should definitely check out the Sottero Midgley line. I use to work at a bridal boutique that carried these dresses...they are beautiful and are so flattering.

Actually, I''ll be ordering either the Adorae or the VSM7084SW from the Sottero Midgely line!

Now that I know what styles and features look the best on me, it will be much easier to choose.

This gown keeps coming back to me. I tried it on with the others yesterday, and didn''t post it last night. I can''t stop thinking about it. The sample was two sizes too small, so it wasn''t sitting where it should. The top wasn''t against my chest, the hip area wasn''t all the way down, and I was leaning backwards (with my pelvis forward, thus the appearance of GIANT hips!) to grab the gown when Fi took the full-length picture. What is the consensus on this gown? Typically, when I gown shop, I''ll try a bunch on, and when something sticks in my mind, I know it''s the right one. It has the shaping, bling, and the neckline that I want.

as for dress #3 (the new photo), it''s a gorgeous dress. i''ve never seen anything exactly like it, which sometimes happens with bridal designs. personally, it''s not my style (i stick to a plainer dress )...but you''ll be wearing it & i think you can rock it! i shop the same way with any big ticket items. i have to go home, mull it over, research more, & if after that i still can''t get it out of my head, i know i won''t regret my decision. i can visualize this dress fitted on you & it will be a knockout! so...are you thinking this is "it" or are you going to try to shop again?

Honestly, I don''t think that dress three does any justice to your figure. I think that the others are more flattering to your waistline.

(Side note: Too bad about the other dress. I thought it was gorgeous on you, but totally understand the reasoning for not wearing it.)

Dress 3 strikes me as being a bit busy. I kinda prefer the two Soterro Micheleys. Of course, that could change once you get a dress that''s more your size...

I personally think dress 3 is the least flattering on you. Your body is great.. I think the first two compliment it really well!

I adore the 2nd one. You look so amazing in it. Honestly, #3 does nothing for your amazing figure. Maybe you can find a similar body style to #2 with more detail.

Yeah, I am gonna gives a thumbs down to #3. Your body is way too rockin'' for that dress to distort it as it does.
