Went to Tiffany today - not impressed

I went to Tiffany today to see what I want as an anniversary gift and wasn''t impressed with the quality of the settings at all. The stones were amazing but settings - very ''meh''. I looked at some 3 stone rings and anniversary bands. I guess I was expecting to be wowed after looking at their catalogs for years but wasn''t. The settings were just "off" to my eyes and didn''t flow right. Has anybody else come away with the same impression?

I also went to Cartier and thought their rings were much better looking. The finishing was smoother and the settings were more sleek.

I''ve looked at the settings at Tiffany''s, but not Cartier so I can''t compare. I do have to say that I still love the Tiffany solitaire setting and it will always be my top favourite.
