So, a couple nights ago my BF asked me what I want for my b-day and all I could think of was going e-ring shopping with him! But I didn''t say that cause it really wasn''t the right time ( you know you have to be delicate with these things

). But last night he brought up e-rings, so I told him!! And he said we could go!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!! Man I am soooooo excited, I hope it goes well

So we''re going next week, it probably won''t be till the weekend cause we have some busy schedules. But after talking about marriage, and even talking about rings, this is the next big step!!!!! Woooohooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay Sunkist! Ring shopping is a big step and lots of fun!
My BF and I brought a camera and he took some pics for me at the places where we felt comfortable whipping out the camera. No one at any of the places we tried had a problem with us taking pics and I'm sure they would have said something if they did.
I would definitely bring the camera because after a while everything starts to become one big blur of sparklies...
I also responded to your other thread about places to shop in Irvine/OC...

ETA: To stress the importance of bringing a camera...I just looked at some of the early settings I was considering and now I'm so glad I have pics to compare all of them. I can't believe how much my taste has changed since we first started looking!

That is very exciting! I never thought of bringing a camera w/to go shopping. That''s a great idea although not sure I wouldn''t feel a little weird taking pictures. After you do it once, prob. not that hard the next time..who knows. I recently brought up that i''d like to go ring shopping (after he brought it up a few months back) and he said that he thought that was a good idea. That made me very happy. I have decided that i''m going to wait a couple months before actually going though. I''d like to see if he brings it up before and I don''t want him to feel pressured since we just recently had a talk about our timelines...once again--> boy soon vs. girl soon.
I also want to figure out where to go. Although there are tons of jewelers and a huge area in the city to choose from, I don''t think i''ll find what I like at a regular store. Since I like the antique style, i''m trying to research where might have things to try on. I have a feeling he''ll buy online but I really want to try things on first...especially since i''ve been on PS and found so many different things that I like and have never seen before.

I''m still so excited to go! It won''t be until next week though, and maybe not till the weekend? But I know my BF is getting a lot more interested in it too cause he''s been asking his friends all about where they bought their diamonds and getting advice from them. He''s left most of the diamond research to me because I enjoy it more
