Great choice! I''m not sure anyone answered your first question about the girdle, but there is nothing wrong with thin to slightly thick. That is within the ideal parameters. I think it would be hard to find something that matched that price that would perform better, and I would not go down in color or clarity. So I hope you love it!!!
