What are you listening to?

We have a "What are you reading?" thread.

I figured it wuld be interesting to post what we are listening to.

I'll start.

I'm listening to In Through the Out Door by Led Zeppelin. This is one of the most spectacular albums of our time i its genre [according to me

].

In the classical genre I can give you chapter and verse but I'll save that for later [I was classicaly trained in piano most recently - a long time ago - at the New England Conservatory while an undergraduate in math at NU.]

I was on the board of directors of one of my companies last year [a rotating thing even though it is publicly traded] and they gave me and the others a video IPOD for Christmas. Hopefully DD can load up some of my music because I am computer illiterate! I'm lucky I can manage to post! LOL!

Lots and lots of xmas music! I start in long before Thanksgiving and will play it until after xmas. I love it! Right now Brian Setzer is playing. ''Regular'' CDs in the player are Phantom of the Opera, The Strokes, White Stripes, Jack Johnson, *ahem* Raffi - I like kids'' music a little too much, but, at least I don''t play it unless DD is in the car - Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea...You swim so wild and you swim so free... Oh, see, now I''m gonna belt it out BAAAAAABY BELUUUUUUUGA...OH, BAAAAABY BELUUUUUUGA!!! Sorry ''bout that...I had a moment...

An email was just passed around DH''s office that asked what 5 CDs you would bring with you on a deserted island. We both agreed on anything by Led Zeppelin. A Bolero CD would also be a must! I''d have to bring my Phantom CD, too. And probably some rap to dance to. What else are you gonna do on a deserted island!

We''ve actually been listening to a lot of classical music in the car lately. I think I put it on once when I was looking for something soothing, and then it kind of stuck. Other than that, I''ve been listening to whatever''s on the radio at the moment -- top 40 and singer/songwriter stuff.
