Will you be wearing the same for the actual rehearsal?

I''m wearing a cream-colored, spaghetti-strap, knee-length eyelet dress with (subtle) ruffles at the neckline and hem--I''ll wear it to the rehearsal and the RD.

Kitty, pictures? I''m not sure yet. I think I''m going to wear my short melissa sweet dress cause I doubt I''ll change out of my wedding dress but then what do I do if I want to change? Gah. If I don''t I''ll wear this purple satin dress that I have.

I don''t know! This weekend I wore a dress to my bridal shower that I was thinking about wearing to my rehearsal dinner so I guess I need to find a new dress/outfit to wear! I''ll wear the same thing to the rehearsal and the dinner, though.

I knew there would be a picture request

. I found a stock photo since I''m not really capable of taking a decent full-length self-photo. Apparently, I was slightly off in my original description--the dress is "taupe" and not so much eyelet as crochet/lace.

I''m wearing the same dress to both. The rehearsal will only last an hour, so there''s no need to change after that. My dress is purple, not too fancy. I don''t have any pictures yet...

Kittybean, your dress is gorgeous! I don''t know what I will be wearing to the RD, but I don''t see why you should change for the actual rehearsal.

Thank you! I actually don''t really see a reason for changing, either, but a friend of mine was telling me all about her different outfits for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and I was wondering if this was something a lot of brides did.

Are you going to have a fancy first dance that might require more dance-friendly apparel? I forget what your short Melissa Sweet looks like--do you have a pic? I''m sure it''s gorgeous, and it would be such a shame if you didn''t get to wear it! Very tough call.

Ummm...jeans and a tank top?
Hehe, we''re having a low key, at home bbq for the rehearsal dinner, so nothing dressy. Although I shouldn''t go to church in jeans, so I guess for the rehearsal itself I''ll wear a white summer dress with fun print on it. Haven''t thought too much about it to be honest..

I''m not 100% sure that this is what I''m going to wear, but it''s the reason I bought it!! I thought it would be nice! We''re having a casual, at home rehearsal and dinner because my fiance''s family is pretty broke and can''t host one, but I''m dressing up anyway! I''m still on the lookout for something a little different, but this is ALMOST what I want. :)

And, of course, it''s the stock photo because I''m too lazy to go put it on and take a picture. haha.

any suggestions for what to wear to a winter rehersal dinner? There are so many cute summer dresses, but I''m starting to worry that I won''t find anything that I like my January wedding...I guess I shouldn''t worry and let all the holiday dresses come out..always the worrier!

Fun! I am wearing this to my January wedding rehearsal and dinner, it''s Carmen Marc Valvo from Ruelala, as posted previously! Can you tell I love this dress, this is the second time I''ve posted it! It came last week!

This is my rehearsal dinner dress:

ETA: I also have a knee-length raw silk sheath dress in white with black and grey roses (VERY vintage) for our farewell brunch the next day. No pics of it online since it's a local designer, but I'll take pics of me in it soon!

I haven''t found anything yet!!!!

I really wanted an emerald or hunter green dress, b/c our colors are all fall colors centering on red, so I wanted something VASTLY different.............

However I can''t find anything yet!

BTW I love all the dresses posted so far!

Thank you so much for starting this thread! I''m looking for a dress DAILY and can''t find one! I''ve been online to Nordstrom, Bluefly, J Crew...looking for something! I was going to wear this one but it might be a smidge too fancy for our RD.

ILovePrincessCuts: I remember when you first posted your RD dress and I still LOVE it!

Where is that dress from Lanie? I LOVE it! Do they have it in other colors?

From Nordy''s. They do! I can''t remember off hand...they are online. The blue one is gone though I think. Isn''t it great?

Ohhhh I like this one. I think I might get it.

sOrry that was so big.

Ooh that is cute too!! If you get the pink one, then I''m getting the BLUE!! I''m already imagining gorgeous heels to match!!

Yes!!!!! Super fab heels are a MUST for these! What color would you wear with the pink one? I like the idea of a completely contrasting color. Where is your RD Mere? Is it appropriate for a cocktail dress? I wore the blue to a wedding with gold strappy heels so I don't want to re-wear it. I want something new!

This is what I am wearing on Friday to my RD.

Everything for the wedding is going to be balck and white/ivory, so I was thinking I could wear some REAL color for the RD!! Who knows though, maybe white with gold shoes and jewelry would be better?

I secretly want to wear white too. It''s the only time you are absolutely allowed to wear white. But I want to be able to wear it again and I don''t think I''d personally get a lot of wear out of it.

Modernsparkler -- cute dress!

This is mine, it''s actually a BM dress, by Dessy. Love it! I''m hemming it to knee length also.

Kitty, it's lovely!!!!!!!! Sunny, yours is lovely too!!!!!
I love this thread!!! I love the dresses!!!

Kitty, what shoes are you wearing?

Sunny, you've just inspired me to look at bmaid dresses as a possibility!

Yeah, do it! There''s a billion possibilities!

December in Ohio can be CHILLY!

For budget/sanity/personal preference reasons, we''re having a low, low key "rehearsal" and "RD." You might as well call it a pre-wedding party. We''ll have a quick run-through of the ceremony at my parent''s house with our wedding party, and then have all of FIs OOT family over for pizza and beer (though I''ll be eating a salad and drinking water, I''m sure...

)

It''d be different if we were getting married in a church or could even have our rehearsal at our venue (which we can''t...). If that was the case, I''d wear a sassy dress and enjoy my nice dinner out. But alas... Pizza and beer it is! And hopefully our bill won''t extend beyond $300. Especially since we''re already over budget. Snap.
